最近活動終了を発表した才能あふれる音楽ユニットがいる。BOOM BOOM SATELLITESというユニット。
ギターヴォーカルの川島氏が５度目の脳腫瘍による後遺症のため活動を中止せざるをえなくなったんです。
自分も昔から知っていたわけではありませんが知人から教えてもらったり地元のフェスに出演していたりでかっこいい音楽をやっているなと思ってました。それだけに活動休止はとても残念です。
デジタルサウンドを駆使したロックサウンドや壮大な表現のスローサウンドで楽しませてくれてます。音楽にすべてをつぎ込んだ感のする気合の入ったユニットだけに本当に残念です。しかしこれまでの作品はこれからも愛されるでしょうね。ゆっくり時間をかけて静養してください。
次の映像はラストアルバムに収録されている楽曲で出演している女の子は川島氏のお子さんだそうです。未来を感じさせる素晴らしいアルバムになっているそうですね。
